sarlania 's Assignment 4 recap has finally reminded me to post my S&S LOLs here. (For the hypothetical uninitiated, LOLs are captioned pictures with funny syntax. Usually pictures of cats, but I've made about 30 with David McCallum pics.)

This is such an important episode in MFU lore. It's the first time the boys take on a mission for personal reasons, Napoleon for an old flame and Illya for Napoleon. Clara doesn't strike me as the kind of woman that Napoleon would date, but maybe that's the point. By the time we meet him, he's dating women who are the opposite of Clara. There's a lot going on under the surface of this episode and in the scenes where either Napoleon, Clara or Illya interact there is a lot to watch for. I think there's more body language in this episode than any that we've had so far this season. Napoleon expresses a lot with his eyes and we get real emotions from him, especially notable how he describes Clara's husband to Illya. Illya seems to have a lot of emotions at war within himself as well. It's obvious that he cares for Napoleon or else why would he go on this mission in the first place. But he lets a lot of things slip with his eyes when he thinks no one (but the camera) is looking. So, there's lots of fun to be had speculating and interpreting what's on the screen to be had in this one.

This is the fourteenth episode aired, but the seventeenth episode made. It is the final episode directed by Richard Donner.

Hi. This is my one and only Doctor Who fanvid. I spent ages working on it fighting with the wonderfully crashing Windows Movie Maker and trying to make it spin a little like a waltz (if that makes any sense). I don't think the final result is quite what I was aiming for but I like it and I hope you do too.

There's a clip floating around in some people's videos of Nine dropping his gun and hugging Rose after the dalek kills himself. I don't remember seeing that in the episode. Was it in the confidential and I'm just not finding it?

I was wondering if someone could give me a link to that clip. I'd really appreciate it, cause I kinda want to use it in a vid I'm planning.
